I am sooo glad to back in the routine of things. For the past month or so, it seems like I havent been able to breathe! From Christmas, New years, and my uncle passing away it been pretty busy. Nothing like starting 2010 with chaos. This Christmas was one of the best ones I have ever had. It’s funny how over time the gifts you get aren’t so important and the company is all that matters. So awesome!
Then, came 2010. We brought the new year off with total class. lol We met a couple of new people who were pretty cool and met some other people who I would never want to talk to for the rest of my life. I mean its bad when Ashley Huffman doesn’t like you, she likes EVERYBODY! haha but all in all we had a pretty kick ass time. We popped the bubbly, clinked glasses and raised a toast for good times and good cheer. Pretty unforgettable.
Unfortunately, it wasn’t all fun and games in the first week of 2010, because I brought in the new year with a death in my family. My uncle Gilbert was such a cool guy, and I hate that alcohol got the best of him. I know it cliché to say this, but I know that he is in a better place, a place where alcohol doesn’t control his mind and body. I love him and will miss him everyday. I am glad he went so peacefully he deserved that much for sure.
Call me crazy but I am pretty excited that this week is a full work week. It will thankfully bring back the structure of everyday life. That makes me feel comfortable. Although I have a love/hate realtionship with the comfort of life. Because I am finding out that the more I am Comfortable in things, the more they change! haaha idk, we will see what this year brings…
